Dentistry is no stranger to contagious diseases and as such safety has always been and continues to be the overriding standard of care in our practice. Yet, we are well aware of the challenges posed by COVID-19 and continually update our knowledge of the behavior of the virus as shared by WHO, CDC, NY Department of Health and American Dental Association, and adjust our protocol accordingly in all areas of operation, front and back end of the practice.

The following are some of the safety precautions we have taken to guarantee your safety:

  • Our office is fully ventilated with an additional precaution of operating in open-windowed treatment rooms;

  • Appointments continue to be staggered to limit the number of patients in the waiting room.

  • Doctors and staff members are staggered to eliminate overlap and crowding in the practice;

  • We closely monitor patients and staff for flu like symptoms and encouraging anyone who is experiencing symptoms to stay home and obtain testing for Covid-19 before returning to the office;

  • We encourage patients to use hand sanitizers upon entry to the office, hand wash upon each entry to treatment room and wear masks in all common areas if experiencing any symptoms;

  • Increasing frequency of antimicrobial disinfection of all high-touch areas such as door knobs and chair arm rests.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR VISIT:

  • We are now in suite 1857 which provides more space for social distancing and staggering patients and offers multiple open windows in most treatment rooms,

  • Hand sanitizer and masks are provided upon entry at the waiting room;
